Rick Majewski is a freelance photographer and videographer based out of Portland Or. He uses multi-platform tools to tell stories of the world around us. He is drawn to the vibrant celebrations, unique light, and characters of all caliber.

He covers Life, the happy moments as well as the sad ones. The moments of celebration and moments of mourning. Moments of anger and moments of joy.

Working mostly in the documentary fashion. Two of his longest projects, "Weegee Halloween" (2005-present) and "Pilsen on the 4th of July" (2010-2022) are about our celebrations. He was a cameraman on a full-length documentary film about the torture saga involving former Chicago Police Commander Jon Burge.

He is always planning his next project, wandering around, touting a camera, looking for a scene with good light.
